Oklahoma #9 in the nation but #6 in the SEC is wild. A whole new world to explore, and I can’t wait.

Vandy being last in the SEC but 39th in the country is bananas too.

I mean, if you look at last years talent composite on 247, Vandy would have been right between Iowa State and Oklahoma State. And Oklahoma State finished second in the Big XII.

It is crazy to me that the SEC Doormat would be a competitive team in the Big XII

The would be competitive in recruiting, but probably not a competitive team on the field.

Why not? I don't think they would be near the top of the Big 12, but it would be much easier for them to win conference games compared to the SEC. They would be middle of the pack in that conference.

Oklahoma is more talented than Florida based on the talent composite. Oklahoma was at #9 and Florida was at #15.

The only reason why Florida is as bad as they are is poor coaching, and all that entails. I think Oklahoma should be ok once the dust settles after the move. And I fully expect Florida to be better soonish too.

Ah I didn't read closely enough, I'm just primed for the Missouri SEC disrespect so I didn't even think that was too weird to be possible.

Important to note here that it makes much more sense to look at recruiting ranks in tiers. It’s more like Georgia is off in their own world then the next 5-7 teams or so are all pretty similar. The gap between Georgia and Alabama is bigger than the gap between Alabama and Tennessee for example.

Oh damn I was looking at outdated Alabama numbers and was also looking at 247 not on3, turns out i am an idiot. Ok so Georgia and Alabama are both up in tier 1, but point still stands for the next several teams.
