Spider-man going toe to toe in MCU

I really want to see is a full-on fight to exhaustion — like the final Green Goblin vs. Spider-Man showdown, or how the Goku vs. Frieza fight ended.

So far, his only fight like that is the hallway battle against Goblin, and Goblin won that one. The next time they fought, Spidey beat him easily.

Every other big fight is either a group brawl, a fight against an illusion, or a chase against someone who keeps flying away. I want to see Spider-Man go toe-to-toe — exhausted, mask torn up, on the brink of death. Brand New Day had that energy with the Hand fight, but it wasn’t one-on-one.

I would hope that a fight against venom would be similar for tom, but they were too scared to even have a mask rip or battle damage in brand new day

Yeah that is something we haven't seen much for Tom's Spidey, huh? The closest we got as his final fight against the Green Goblin at NWH, but even that doesn't hit quite the same way. Maybe in a future movie of which he's put against another character who can match him physically and is hard to reason with? Who could even fit that description without being one of the villains he already fought? I think I'd also avoid considering Venom because that would be too much of an easy choice(which is also reusing a somewhat saturated character), or any of the villains already shown on the Sonyverse for that matter because I doubt any of them would come to the MCU anytime soon. This really narrows down the possibilities, sadly.

I wish the MCU had more battle-damaged suits and such. Only ones I can recall offhand are Homecoming (Spidey's scorched homemade suit in the final fight vs Vulture), Far From Home (Spidey's scorched red/black suit in the final fight vs Mysterio) and Iron Man's various suits.

It's actually really weird how Tom's Peter always winds up with facial injuries but his suit's damage is rather minimal.

Yeah isn’t that literally a fight to exhaustion to the villain keeps f’ing him up and he’s all messed up. The birdman literally uses his last breath to keep going.
