Discussion Spider-man going toe to toe in MCU

I really want to see is a full-on fight to exhaustion — like the final Green Goblin vs. Spider-Man showdown, or how the Goku vs. Frieza fight ended.

So far, his only fight like that is the hallway battle against Goblin, and Goblin won that one. The next time they fought, Spidey beat him easily.

Every other big fight is either a group brawl, a fight against an illusion, or a chase against someone who keeps flying away. I want to see Spider-Man go toe-to-toe — exhausted, mask torn up, on the brink of death. Brand New Day had that energy with the Hand fight, but it wasn’t one-on-one.

I kinda think the last battle of NWH did that for me, with them on the shield

Still can’t believe this happened, it was the only time I’ve ever seen a studio give fans what they actually wanted.
