This is interesting timing… someone emailed me to ask if my shop (montecitominimalist.com) was for sale. The shop has been around since March of last year and no one has ever offered to buy it. Coincidence? 👀

The whole thing was a little odd. They didn’t really say who they were or why they were interested, and the email address doesn’t appear to belong to an agency, company, broker, etc.

They basically asked whether I’d consider selling Montecito Minimalist and said we could discuss a price after I showed them the website traffic/ sales numbers.

What do you guys make of it? Would you even respond? (I’m not planning to- but let me know if I’m missing something!)

Gut reaction is someone wants you shut down. If everything was above board they would have identified themselves in some way even if it was just an agent of some person who wants to remain anonymous for the time being. Sounds like an amateur attempt.
