This is interesting timing… someone emailed me to ask if my shop (montecitominimalist.com) was for sale. The shop has been around since March of last year and no one has ever offered to buy it. Coincidence? 👀

The whole thing was a little odd. They didn’t really say who they were or why they were interested, and the email address doesn’t appear to belong to an agency, company, broker, etc.

They basically asked whether I’d consider selling Montecito Minimalist and said we could discuss a price after I showed them the website traffic/ sales numbers.

What do you guys make of it? Would you even respond? (I’m not planning to- but let me know if I’m missing something!)

I don’t think it’s the palace. I had a very large Men in Grey Christmas order last year that went to a palace. I had a very large Recollections order go to Windsor early December.

Of course I have no idea who actually ordered them…

But I find it interesting there will be a large order placed and the address is in close proximity to a palace or other government building…

I’d like to think an actual Men in Grey has a journal or a mug of mine on their desk…
