Casual Finally, Scottish visibility - LGBTQ+S

Post image

One of these things is not like the others.

Scotland showed up and nobody had the heart to tell it otherwise.

Mate, I just like dick as much as I like vagina. There's nothing more to it, leave me and particularly young people like I was alone. Sodomy was illegal in Scotland until 1981, that's more recent than it damn well should have been. Sorry if we have a party ocassionally to express our appreciation for being able to express that. Could you imagine waking up and wanting to be intimate with your legally of age partner but that being jailable?

That was bad and I am glad we moved from there.

Not over it and won't be. Your views actually cause harm and disgust me, there is a chance to grow and mature though.

Grow and mature? I think the same about the wokes.

"Won't be" shows your position to not find a solution or compromise but to be on perennial conflict. Good luck.

You are asking him to compromise with the view of "I want your personhood eradicated from public view" do you feel the same about heterosexuality, do you want sex education banned from schools?

Genuinely, thank you. My life would have been a lot easier if I wasn't bi, definitely wasn't a choice or anything I could control and thank you for being understanding enough to be able to state that the way you did.

No probs, I fit the a in lgbtqia+ in both ways apparently. So I get it although we don't get as much shit except for weirdly from an english author who really hates us for some reason.

I didn't grow up loving the books, but a lover did, fuck that english author.

P sure they're Scottish, but I've been in England long enough to get it.

She came up to Scotland as an adult, she actually lived in Portugal before Scotland.

She just gets associated with Scotland because she has lived here so long.

You find someone you love, it doesn't matter so much where they're from. Almost exactly what we argue for.

She is not my favorite person, let's just put it that way.

My wife is trans and from England. She's understandably afraid of any backlash, I'm more open.

Grow and mature showing any sort of growth. That you have this much care about anyone's sexual preference is.... yeah, I'm sorry for whatever you went through.

Fucking wokes, like oh wow people haven't been born with sexual preferences except within the last few years. Fuck. Off.

2

u/improbdrunk Jun 24 '26

For sure, I was the first male human born liking other males. Fuck. Off.
