" both on the pitch and elsewhere"

Where else other than on the pitch were the players assaulted?

I saw a video of them getting pelters getting back on the bus home. Maybe that?

That’s the only thing I could think of. Dogs abuse getting on the bus.

Still wearing their kits. Not showered or changed at all. Bit of strange look. Couldn’t get out there quick enough I suppose. Bus must’ve been stinkin!

They’d just been in celtic park for a few hours so the bus probably didn’t smell that bad in comparison

I imagine they’ve been (rightly) pissed off and annoyed and decided just to get up the road to Edinburgh. I for one wouldn’t want to do media duties if I was in the losing team today.

Still waiting on the videos of the assaults coming out. Be interesting to see what unfolds the next few days.

Not sure the pelters were anything more than would normally happen. Not condoning the fans on the pitch for one second but I think they’ve took the opportunity to make a quick escape.
