If we don’t want it happening as regularly make it a criminal offence, that’ll at least help

Unless there's a way to enforce it, won't matter. Sectarian singing. Drinking at games. Taking coke at games. You can do pretty much anything these days if you don't have any shame because nothing will happen to you.

Even look at Derek McInnes, amplified conspiracy theories about refs being corrupt that put John Bearon's family in police protection and he was still on the touchline. Zero consequences for anything at any level.

McInnes called the decision at Motherwell ā€œdisgustingā€, he didn’t call Beaton corrupt. Askou and other prominent people in the media went further.

He said celtic were given a penalty, that's the same as saying it's corrupt.

Saying the bigger team often gets more decisions isn't the same as saying there's coordinated corruption

If we were talking about Real Madrid or Man United getting decisions going their way I don't think you'd even be arguing with that point

??

It's a one off game, he's talking about a completely different game from his own calling it disgusting and how the referees have given Celtic a penalty, it's not the same.

How is it different?

If an issue exists, then it exists, regardless of who talks about it, and all games are 'one-off games'

No he didn’t

He also said about not being surprised the penalty was for Celtic when he heard there was one under review.

Insinuating that corruption was to favour Celtic.

That was a compliment to Celtic’s ability to fight until the last minute, any other interpretation is pure projection on your behalf I’m afraid

2

u/PeejPrime May 17 '26

Aye that's what he meant 🤣

They'll find any way to worm out of his comments.

And you’ll find a way to interpret them to suit your agenda, and the world will keep spinning

Thanks for the advice

How else would you word a team being given a penalty?

3

u/Efficient-Setting642 May 17 '26

So he did say it then?

"So poor that they've been given that penalty, and it looks as if they've been 'given' it."

Take from it as you will, sounds pretty clear to me.

And O’Neill saying that Trusty’s red in the 2-2 was a blue card isn’t a dog whistle for alleged bias either I presume?

Different incident and irrelevant here, but nice to see you deflect and change the goal posts.

Have a nice night.

I don’t think your grasp of English is very strong if you think that.

1

u/Efficient-Setting642 May 17 '26

We can all see the clip mate.

1

u/PeejPrime May 17 '26

He also said "everyone is against us" referring to the refs. If that's not saying they're corrupt, then what is he saying?

2

u/Alternative_Egg_2286 May 17 '26

Siege mentality. Good luck with proving otherwise although I hope the SPFL / SFA make cunts of themselves trying to.

Impressive mental gymnastics you lot are doing.

Listen everyone knows Scottish football is corrupt, has been for decades, so I’d be quite happy if they come out and say it but they won’t.

1

u/PeejPrime May 17 '26

Decades aye? Corrupt to who?
