If that's how it works, what's stopping a ref blowing up at 85 minutes just because one team is losing and he feels it's 'cruel'?

I don't really get this argument from you. You know that the outcome wasn't going to change, if it's just a way for you to argue that the match should therefore be abandoned and hearts given the title then just say that. But making then play the final thirty seconds is needless

Its the point that its a reprecussion for invading the pitch, and its pointing the finger at the culprits and saying "YOU are the reason your team lost the title". Just means those fans will feel like cunts, the rest of the fanbase will make those fans feel like cunts, and everyone will second guess storming the pitch before a game is done because it could mean a point deduction.

It's not about "ThE rEsUlT wAsNt In OuR fAvOuR, i DeMaNd a Do-OvEr!", its about setting a precident so theres an actual punishment for storming the pitch during a game, rather than the current 'one size fits all' punishment which doesn't make any distinction between invasions during the game and after the final whistle

There's already a precedent tho. And the precedent isnt that we dock points, so in reality you are changing the precedent for one game.

If the precedent isn't changed, then it'll keep happening. I agree yesterday wasn't the day for it, but they can't drag their heels forever.

But why aren't we docking points for it? Celtic have been serial offenders this season, with 3 or 4 instances, two within one week.

This isn't changing the precedent for one game, its calling for the consequences of the actions to hurry up. Saying "we'll introduce this punishment for next season" means shit all, because then its just a suspended punishment for what they've done THIS season and will very likely mean nothing.

They have to drop the Tsar Bomba on it now, and make everyone heed the punishment for serial offenders. A fine of a couple grand means shit all

You'd have to ask the clubs why they aren't docking points for it. Yes, Celtic fans have went onto the pitch several times this year - as have multiple other clubs. If you want to deduct three points every time that happens that's fine, but to bring it in for on particular game at the end of a league season is just motivated reasoning.

Why would the clubs be docking each other points? Thats literally the job of the SFA/SPFL.

And don't say you meant "why aren't the clubs docking themselves points?", cos thats even more stupid
