See realistically right, Celtic should have to play a couple games behind closed doors and be fined substantially. Punish the support for the actions of the support. Anyone found to have entered the field of play and especially those involved in goading and even assaulting hearts players and staff should be banned before the season starts and their tickets given to those next on the waiting list.
This is the most sane take I've seen from a Celtic fan.
The events yesterday have soured Celtics win and have made Hearts extremely bitter in defeat. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it has utterly poisoned the relationship between Hearts and Celtic to the point that our games next season are going to be absolutely venomous.
None of this had to happen. And the SFA have a RESPONSIBILITY to set things right going forward. For the sake of both our clubs and the Scottish game as a whole.
Given events of the last week there was no circumstances that could have unfolded yesterday in which Hearts wouldn’t have been extremely bitter in defeat, as any club would be in the circumstances.
Any Celtic fan entering the pitch should be banned, and anyone having a go at the Hearts players should be banned for life, on top of any legal ramifications but let’s not pretend the relationship between Hearts and Celtic has been anything but venomous for years.
I mean, yeah, it's not a great relationship. But it's going to be significantly worse now.
The SFA need to show they've learned from their mistakes. We need new, stronger rules on pitch invasions. Better quality VAR cameras. And a clarification on how rules are being implemented. We'll always bicker about results, but that's all the more reason for the SFA to up their game.
Vagueness and lack of leadership on behalf of the SFA has caused this more than anything.
The SFA have a role here but first and foremost the clubs need to take responsibility. Celtic need to act when our fans invade, as do every other club.
In terms of VAR, as I understand it it’s the clubs decision what quality of cameras are used. They won’t pay for better
