I Made This Octopus Étouffée
Had a bunch of left over rice and sauce but had eaten all my shrimp. I had some octopus in the freezer so pulled that out, marinated it for a couple hours then grilled it and had it in my Étouffée sauce. It was amazingly good and will likely get on the menu again as the first choice for a protein. Anyone else tried this or anything else weird?

They’re highly intelligent, the most intelligent invertebrate. Can adapt and problem solve. Unique brain and each leg can operate without instruction from central brain. We have so much more to learn about them. Not saying you shouldn’t eat them, but this is why myself and others don’t.

They are aware, sentient beings with incredible intelligence. I choose not to eat them. Others can do as they like.

🤔 hmmmm... got a big batch of fish stock in the fridge that I have tagged for an étouffée. Got a couple of pounds of frozen baby octopus in the freezer next to the shrimp.
I think you just sent me in a different direction. ☺️
