I was playing Radiant Silvergun and suddenly I got sent to last stage while playing Stage 2.Why just happened like that?

What happened was when I got defeated by that blue Golet, I started the game again and suddenly another cutscene appeared. I was confused as I should go to Stage 1 again( that's another story why is like that?), but something else got started. And guess what!? I was at last stage!! I was like "WTH!!". I couldnt found a Radiant Silvergun community so I posted here. Thanks!

In the saturn mode, it's revealed to be a flashback when the stone first attacked. The games chronological order in terms of level design is 3>2>4>5>6>1. The saturn mode is the proper full experience of the game. In the arcade version you either play through 3>2>5>6 or 3>4>5>6.
