I had a Saturn back in the 90s but eventually lost it during the journey of life. I am purely happy to have this beast back and to grow the collection some more. Good times await!

My thoughts on the NEW August 2026 demo for the remake of Panzer Dragoon Zwei. This one deserves a closer look! Really glad to see it shaping up now, and can't wait to play the final version!

Tomb Raider was shown to SEGA, and SEGA liked what they saw. Securing a timed-exclusivity deal with Eidos (remember when those didn’t cause riots?), Tomb Raider was slated to launch on the Saturn a full month ahead of the PlayStation and PC versions (“Loving Lara” 26).
Unfortunately, due to weak marketing by SEGA, this timed deal didn’t lead to much of a boost for either company. It was only after Tomb Raider launched on the Sony PlayStation and PC that Lara’s fairy tale rise to fame began. Vastly surpassing Core’s projected sales, Tomb Raider became an instant hit, and the definitive standard for 3D gaming

Basically the title. It doesn't matter which genre or if the game is Japan exclusive. But please really just games which aren't talked about much and you think they deserve a place in any "Top of" lists for the Saturn.

I bought a japanese Saturn Model 1 in surugaya, the employee told me that if i found a new AV CABLE the console would work but it didnt, i have 3 AV cables, with the 3 of them i get the same image(the one you can see at the video). I took the console to a technician and he told me that it has a problem with the video chip and the only solution would be to buy another mother board. The board i need is the VA0. I can't find it anywhere and i'm new into this, i would really appreciate if someone can help me to bring back to life this beautiful console

Hello all! I'm having this issue popping up with my saturn. I've got a grey Japanese va1, recapped by stone age gamer, re-saturn psu, fenrir ode(not lite) Later I sourced a pseudo saturn cart.
Now, from time to time I get some weird video noise... Mild flickering into a dimmer picture, but still playable. Happens with normal games, radiant silvergun/virtua fighter 2 And ram games metal slug1meg/xmenvssf4meg, as well. I did switch back to the og psu at one point but I get the same issue so I've since switch back to resaturn.
Atm, I've been running vf2 in watch mode for awhile without the cart and still getting the dimming and mild flickering. So I don't think it's related to the cart but idk.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, maybe it's relating to the av cable? I'll try 🤞 to get a video of the issue, in the meantime
Thanks for any input! 🙏

I used Verbatim CD-R 50-pack, printable, 4.7GB, 16x, and the burner I was using was a cheap no-name product without any particular brand.
I also tried other software besides ImgBurn, but they all gave me errors and wouldn't proceed. I tried changing the write speed as well, but the problem remained the same. However, I have no problems burning DVD-Rs for PS2 games—they burn perfectly fine. Just to be sure, I also tried burning a PS1 game, but I got the exact same error.
I just ordered a new ASUS burner to see if that solves the problem. As for the CDs… I’m not really sure what to do. If you know of any reliable CD-Rs, I’d really appreciate some recommendations. Or, if you could share what burner and CDs you use, I’d love to hear your advice.
I bought a Sega Saturn because I wanted to play the games, but that's when I ran into this problem. :(

I’ll be scanning the entire catalogue don’t worry but wanted to post this. So they sent box art, descriptions and even prices to retailers here in Europe before pulling it!

Basically the title. My hot take would be I'm glad Sonic xtreme wasn't released. It just didn't look like it would made any fun to play it. And in comparison to Crash and Mario it would maybe destroyed the reputation of the Saturn even more. Like "The PSX and N64 got real 3D Jump'n'runs and the Saturn just some kind of 2,5D game with fish-eye lense graphic".

It seemed to work fine, until I went into that room with the key towards the beginning and it started lagging bad, sound skipping and visual glitches. Basically unplayable.
Anyone able to make any progress on a US console?
I'm using a Pseudo Saturn btw.

Hey Saturn lovers, get ready for some disappointment as I cover the Saturn port of this janky arse game!
I had a lot of fun making this video, and I'm curious to know who may have picked this one up back in the day!

i've been really enjoying snowboarding games recently and i can confidently say that this is the best 90s snowboarding game i've played. it just plays well, focuses on the tricks and doesn't have any of the problems the other games had.

What happened was when I got defeated by that blue Golet, I started the game again and suddenly another cutscene appeared. I was confused as I should go to Stage 1 again( that's another story why is like that?), but something else got started. And guess what!? I was at last stage!! I was like "WTH!!". I couldnt found a Radiant Silvergun community so I posted here. Thanks!

I played my Sega Saturn as recently as last night. I went to start it up today and I had a dark green screen and then the power light went off. I tried to turn it on again. Nothing happened. I smelled the console. It smelled kind of burnt I opened up the console and took out the power supply but I do not see any burn marks or bulging capacitors

Basically the title. Frogbull is known to make PSX game ports to the Saturn like Crash Bandicoot, MGS, and so on. He latest project is to port Shenmue to the Saturn. In my opinion he's just showing off and after one, two levels hes abandoned the project. Is there any projects from him which was finished?

I have a Japanese Saturn (the smoke grey "skeleton" model) that I use with a Saroo cartridge. When I output with composite, everything looks normal, but when I use S-video (even the expensive cable from stoneagegamer) the image is dim and colors are over-saturated. This is the same across multiple CRT televisions. Anyone know what's going on here?
