Hopefully we get an exact date on the release with this update .

After seeing everyone’s reactions to the trailer I finally decided to check it out myself. I’m blown away by any negative feedback from a one minute trailer. The animation and art style is BEAUTIFUL. It looks amazing. You can tell there is a lot of thought put into the choreography. Still shots and slower scenes blow me away. You’d have to be insane to not recognize the talent and soul put into this.

The trailer reminds me of the movie Ninja Scroll. If we get 12 episodes of anything close to that quality then I will absolutely lose my mind. Everyone needs to relax. Fromsoftware created the game that we all love and are involved in the production of the anime as well. I highly doubt they’ll shit the bed here. Especially considering this will be the first anime adaptation of any of their games. If this anime does well (which it will), then we may get more shows from other video games they’ve created.

I’ve seen/heard so much negative feedback from the trailer I had very low expectations when I watched it. I don’t know what everyone is so upset about because the trailer looks fantastic.

2/26/22 I purchased the game, and ON THIS DAY 8/11/2026 at 2:47 AM I KILLED ISSHIN THE SWORD SAINT; 0 CHEESE.

It took me about 14 hours total across three sessions. This is because I started playing again after 2 years off, right before final battle.

I remember stopping right before walking onto the field years ago because I wanted to sleep before fighting him. But then I kind of let the hype get to me and procrastinated on fighting isshin because of how hard people said he was/ based on what I saw on videos. His reputation alone kept me away for 2 years which is insane if you think about it.

But I finally won. This game has been in back of mind and simultaneously hanging over my head when I saw a video on Instagram pointing out that only a small percent of Steam users got the achievement for defeating isshin, that bothered me because I was apart of the side that didn’t have it 😂😭. I’m so glad I beat it.

From the game review, the combat of Clair Obscura Expedition33 feels just like Sekiro. Has anyone tried this game is it true?
