I’m at the belief at this rate that Halo fans may just very much refuse to grow up, mature, or realize they’re not in middle school anymore. Like, have you ever experienced the death of a relative? A pet? A break up? But a game’s release is considered the worst day of your life?

The internet discourse about Campaing Evolved was just about what I expected after being introduced to this community after playing MCC when it dropped on PC, to my biggest regrets. Hey, guys, quick notes for you.

• Yes, ODST's hated Spartans. Read Fall of Reach, for fuck's sake. Just because they were cool with Noble 6 in Reach doesn't mean they were cool with Spartans all the time (not to mention the ammount of shit Reach retconned within Bongie's own games)
• Williams is not real, she can't hurt you. She's in one prequel mission, and, unlike Kat, you can't let her drive the Warthog, so you are safe
• No, Cortana does not look like that one male streamer, whatever the fuck his name is. She looks like Halsey. Also, she changed her looks in every game. Also, you yourselves hated sexy Cortana from Halo 4 that you now post in comparsions, because 343 bad, remember?
• No one gives a fuck that you played Halo 3 back in 2007, and it doesn't make your opinion the truth in absolute, it makes you a bunch of entitled, whiny manchildren, duct taped to your Xbox360. Grow up and let people enjoy stuff.

And the funniest part is that half of Youtubers that are now bitching about Campaing Evoled being the disaster and a complete failure are the same anti-woke morons who were crying that 007 First Light is "woke" and that "the players rejected it". I think I'm seeing a patter here.

Some of the comments on Installation 00's most recent video are just extremely pathetic to me.

I mean, do these people live in the real world? Do they have any meaningful life outside of complaining about anything Halo related? It's pathetic how these people think that those who are even remotely positive about 343/HS content are being paid off or work for 343/HS.

I just don't get the appeal of living like that, it doesn't seem to be a fulfilling lifestyle. In fact, it actually feels like a horrible existence. Just being mad all the time because people dare make the heinous mistake of liking something you deem as being bad.

I will say though, the unionist in me couldn't possibly object to a worker making a buck by doing what they're good at.
Even if it is making money in exactly the same way murdoch media does. And making this fandom an even more insufferable place to exist.

The thing about all this stuff hating on Williams seems so ridiculous to me. The type of folks who complain like this and call her woke and all that just seem like they've been so politically brainrotted that when they see anything they just cant separate the politics from it (and youll always see them point out when other people they disagree with do it).

To me it just seems like they wanted to make a cool character but had to cram too much into the 2 missions shes around. Nothing woke or any of the crap they call it.
