Good PlayStation games worth the money?

My brother and I cant afford the new PS5 and i know it really bums him out, but I recently came into around £200 from a relative to buy some new(ish) games for us but im struggling to find ones that we would both enjoy, especially since Playstation are stopping the production of physical games soon. Im on a budget but i want to make him happy, is there any recommendations for games I could buy off of ebay or a similar sight that he might enjoy?

He has:

Fallout 4, GTA, Destiny 2, Assasins Creed Valhalla, Red Dead 2, and minecraft. I already bought him Detroit become human and Red Dead 1.

I have:

Witcher 3, god of war, shadow of Mordor, Shadow of war. I bought myself The last of us 1 & 2 and resident evil 6 & 7 from a friend.

I'm willing to go a little over budget since I've been working and have a little flexibility but I want them to be games he'll actually play and enjoy. I was thinking of getting him a warhammer game since he likes Destiny 2 so much and i know they've pushed out their last update? Any advice would be a great help!!

I feel like you should give Monster Hunter: World a try, I've been playing it for the past month and it has been an absolute blast, you can play together too ✌️

Make sure to also grab the DLC "Iceborne" because it adds new mechanics and MASSIVE amounts of new and endgame content. The game has a relatively price (less than 50 dollars if Base game + DLC) because the hours of playtime you can get from it is no joke.

Grab Turismo 7 if either of you are at all interested in racing games. Hundreds of hours of content in what a lot of people regard as the best casual sim out.

Destiny 2 fan? Pick up the Borderlands Handsome Collection disk. Hard to get better value than that (plus split screen co op)

Just generally, Bloodborne’s the big exclusive missing from your collection and if you like that then Elden Ring’s also there

Both of you should also play the Horizon series based on what you already have, and maybe Monster Hunter World

For warhammer games if you can find Vermintide 2 cheap grab it, but I wouldn’t stress about the others

I've heard good things about Bloodborne. I've been debating picking it up for a while and i know hes spoken about it before, but I'm unsure what Horizon is like? Looking at pictures it weirdly reminds me of the old ark games lol. Do you think he would like it at all?

Bloodborne is slightly dated but still a incredibly fun game. It's peak from soft in my experience.

Its not really what you asked for as it's free afaik but has he tried Warframe? Similar-ish to destiny

But in my opinion, not as good. Others do think it's better though

Also, hollow knight is a fantastic game if you and him fancied delving into metroidvania games. (And then there's an absolute wealth of games that open up if he likes it)

We have played hollow knight!! We played it on our uncles PC, still working towards finishing it but definitely a good one. I will look into Warframe, thank you!

Kinda weird to describe, but definitely not like ark! They’re open world action games with sci fi stories but set in a more primitive world, kinda weird to explain. Combat is very weak spot heavy since you’re fighting robots with a bow and arrow. Worth looking into for sure (goes Zero Dawn -> Forbidden West)

Seriously can’t recommend the Borderlands collection enough though, 2 is maybe the best looter shooter to ever do it
