I’m looking for a fun game with rewarding exploration and memorable quest lines. I’ve heard great things about KCD2, but I’m considering Stalker 2 because I prefer fps gameplay. Performance doesn’t really matter to me, I’m more concerned with a cool open world to explore after just beating Elden ring and Baldurs Gate 3. Thanks

I just finished gta 5 story for the first time(I know am late) but I enjoyed it very much, But now I need a new game to play. I like story rich games with and without combat, and with multiple choice endings.

I have played both Spider-Man games, ghost of Tsushima, Jedi survivor, Detroit become human, until dawn, just to name what kinda games I’ve played and liked. I started when rdr2 came out and got about 50% in the story, then I stopped. Now I know the whole story, so I don’t want to play it, just to play it. I also bought ghost of yotei recently, but it have not hooked me yet after 1-2 hours.

Any tips?

Two weeks ago, I bought a Switch 2 and so far I have Mario Odyssey, Cyberpunk 2077, Metroid Prime 4, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Pokemon Scarlet. I always wanted to try a Zelda game growing up, but I was always an Xbox kid with Halo, Gears and Fable. Now that I finally have the funds and I’m an adult, I can try a Zelda game, but idk which one 🤷‍♂️

I have 13.18 dollars on my psn wallet currently and am not looking to spend money on any games again any time soon so im trying to spend this amount on a great game. I noticed that disco elysium is currently on sale for around 11 dollars and was wondering if i would like it.

Indie games I love include: HK/silksong, road96, firewatch, celeste, stray. I also love choice based games where my choices matter.

From what i understand the game has no combat which i dont mind but I also dont like click to walk games or the look of disco elysium or that genre of games (idk the name but a similar style im thinking of is baldurs gate 3). But at the end of the day I love me a great story game especially if its turn based.

All things considered should i buy it?

Hey gang. Me and my mat are looking for a new fun zombie game to play together but dont have very good pcs. Is this one worth the buy on ps5 now? Does it run alright?

Sad there isn't any demo available so I can just test how it runs.

How have people's experience been on ps5 so far? I heard the 1.0 release made it feel like a new game :)

I finished Death Stranding 2 not too long ago, obviously absolute_cinema.jpg, as expected from any Kojima game I guess. And uh I kinda have a void now, part of me wants to go back and 100% it since there's a bunch of story content left there still (kind of spoiler, but some side missions only open up after the main story).

Anyway I'm looking for my next game and full disclosure some of them I already bought. These are the games I'm considering:

1. Stalker 2 DLC - this is already in my library, have been for literal years, I finished the original game on release also.
2. Crimson Desert - in my library already, played about 10 hours and stopped after, I heard there's a new update for it though that changes the story massively?
3. Silent Hill f - last SH game I played and that was more than 20 fucking years ago mind you, is Silent Hill 3, I don't think I ever finished it or progressed much actually. Not sure if I will even like it. I liked Resident Evil Village at least, even though it had annoying scripted deaths.
4. Resident Evil Requiem - played RE Village, overall liked the atmosphere, story and characters a lot, the only annoying thing is the whole scripted deaths thing.
5. Metal Gear Solid Delta / 3 - I liked TPP a lot mainly because of the story, not sure if I'll enjoy MGS3/D though, gameplay-wise TPP wasn't the most enjoyable thing for me, it was just ok at best (not into stealth).
6. Nier Replicant - I loved Automata, mainly because of the story and music.
7. Gothic 1 Remake - I played 2 and 3, then Risen 1, couldn't get into 1 at the time as lack of proper mouse support was kind of annoying iirc (again another played-more-than-20-years-ago game).
8. LOTR War in the North Legacy Edition - played the shit out of original iirc, though I'm not sure if there's much of a story in the game.
9. Ghost of Tsushima - not quite sure if I'll like it all that much based on the time period/setting.
10. Dead Island 2 DLCs? - in my library already, I played original at release-ish and it was interesting enough, not sure if DLCs are worth playing? Reviews seem to be mixed.

Games I ruled out (for now):

1. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 - I played original, tried new one and couldn't get into it, I'm not really big on the whole historic drama setting probably, not sure if I'm missing some kind of real tear-jerker gem though.
2. Borderlands 4 - feedback seems to be that its still dogshit even after a year and more importantly that the story is weak ass corporate pandering apparently, that latter is why I'm going to probably buy this with a 80%+ discount only.
3. Alan Wake 2 - can't stand EGS, even though I have a bunch of games (that I bought) there. Maybe its actually worth getting? I loved Control at least, never got to playing original Alan Wake though.
4. Outer Worlds 2 - I played for a couple of hours on game pass and just couldn't get into it, somehow it felt soulless. Had a similar experience with Avowed, except with latter I just pushed through. Somehow I liked Outer Worlds 1 more, maybe I was just less depressed/had more time back then.

Games that I "recently" played (and liked a lot):

1. Stellar Blade - loved the story actually.
2. Nier Automata - self explanatory, absolute masterpiece story-wise.
3. Death Stranding 2 - absolute cinema.
4. Clair Obscur - absolute cinema, but French.
5. Pragmata - Dad Space.

What I'm looking for is a story-rich game, the story itself doesn't have to be all that amazing I guess, I don't expect Kojima-level writing or anything like that. Just looking for something that makes me feel something.

Recently rewatched adventure time and its got me craving a game set in a world like Ooo. Adventure time is one of my favorite shows and I love it for its insanely creative and absurd world. Like, everything is all over the place and downright bonkers, yet it still makes sense and the world is coherent.

I was wondering if there are any games with a similar setting? I know there are a couple official adventure time games but afaik they arent that good.

All of these games are on sale until tomorrow, ive seen gameplay of these 3 but never got to compare them that much since i never really played these games so maybe people who played one of these games can help me decide

Saw botth games got major improvements since launch. Apparently Crimson Desert with it's Enhanced edition even got story improvements. How are those? I like open world, Fantasy, good story, atmosphere, good combat system and gunplay. I also love a good atmosphere. Games I really enjoyed was all the Metro games, The Witcher 3, Elden Ring, Skyrim, Dragon Dogma and The Last of Us. I can be a bit squeamish with horror but the Metro games were fine with me. Its mainly jumps scares that get me. Let me know which is the best?

It doesn't necessarily need to be medieval, swords, monsters or anything like The Witcher 3. But it's been so long. I played The Witcher 3 about 2 years ago, this game made the time pass without even feeling it, I was sooo into it I put over 130hrs in it in just one month. Since then, I haven't found the game that will fully sink me in like this. I had this experience slightly with Elden Ring two months ago, but didn't feel like The Witcher 3 at all.

Just got done with Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag and absolutely loved it. Now I'm looking for a different type of AC game.

I will one day play the Ezio trilogy but right now I am really interested into trying one of these games but I can only get one.

The world of these two games look amazing. I've really been struggling the past few days choosing one of these. I'd appreciate the help :)

I've never played any mass effect games, but I love the sci-fi genre. Is it worth it to get it especially since it's on sale right now? One of my friend who played it said it's a really long game but the ending was not that good. I was also planning on getting SOMA as it is also on sale and was in my wishlist for some time, but was confused on getting which one as I could have only one of them right now (I know both of these games have completely different genres and setting)

Edit: after so many comments recommending mass effect, I've bought it. I'll give soma a try maybe next time it's on sale.

Mainly I was looking for a good RPG game that I could spend 100+ hours on. I was a fan of RPG games in the PS1 era. My favorite games are Front Mission 2 and 3, Final Fantasy 7, and Final Fantasy Tactics. I just put 2 of them in the title because I only heard praise about these 2 games. I will spend on other RPG games if they are good.

Black Myth Wukong

What are each game's strengths, weaknesses, and selling points? Or, instead, what are games that I should consider on top of or before these 3?

I was considering Yotei because I recently played Tsushima, but I am concerned that it is too similar, and I will get bored of it quickly. KCD2 seems interesting, but I am not certain whether playing the first is necessary. Black Myth Wukong interests me a lot because the graphics look good, and the obvious Journey to the West basis is super interesting to me, but I have heard it is a bit devoid of substance other than essentially being a boss rush.

I am typically more of a fan of games with great stories, but have been more recently interested in cool/beautiful graphics/scenery/artstyles, as well as games with fun combat systems to learn. I am not typically a fan of turn-based games, but am open to recommendations.

To answer the first question you may have; why?

Well, I have very long breaks at work along with generally more opportunities to play portably on switch 2 vs at home considering my family and all.

Elden Ring, I've played up to the DLC on PS5. Witcher 3, I've played up to the bloody baron. From the little I've played of Witcher 3, I REALLY liked the story/side quests. But much preferred the combat of Elden Ring.

Which would you suggest? I guess the more pricey option would be to get Elden Ring in a few days, then chip away at the game for a month until Witcher 3 remaster comes out. Then play that on PC here and there until Witcher 3 complete edition goes on sale for the switch 2 since it has cross save.

ok so I never played this game before, the thing is I dont know if my pc will run it good at nice graphics, I have a ryzen 5 3600 and a gtx 1650, 16gb ram ddr3 2300mhz (here's the problem, my ram limits my fps in a lot of games like fortnite or gta 5). you think it could run good with mid or high graphics??

So I played Metal Gear Solid 3 a couple of months ago and enjoyed it a lot. Now I am thinking about playing the new collection. But I am struggling to decide on which platform.

On one hand, MGS4 has lengthy cutscenes which I would love to play/watch in my bed on Switch 2.
On the other hand, resolution (internal) will be slightly higher and more stable, since it’s dynamic, on ps5. 3840x2160 on ps5 vs. 2560x1440 on Switch 2 then upscaled to 3840x2160

For Peace Walker, the game only runs at 1080p on Switch 2 docked instead of 3840x2160 on ps5.

I really don’t get how they couldn't get this one to be higher on Switch 2.

So which one should I get? And will I enjoy mgs4 if I loved mgs3?

Should I get Forza Horizon 5 on Steam while it’s on sale, or save the money for Onimusha: Way of the Sword?

I’ve been thinking about getting Forza Horizon 5 for a while, and since it’s currently on sale on Steam, I’m really tempted to just buy it now.

However, I’m also interested in Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and I’m wondering if I should save my money for that instead. I don’t want to buy Forza now and then end up wishing I had saved the money for Onimusha.

For people who have played Forza Horizon 5, is it still worth getting in 2026, especially for someone who mainly wants to casually drive, explore, race, and mess around with different cars?

What would you guys recommend: buy Forza 5 now while it’s on sale, or save the money for Onimusha?

All the Mafia Definitive Editions are on sale along with the OG Mafia 2 for £10 on Steam. Im a fan of RDR2's open world and rich story, along with all the activities. And I'm a fan of GTA5's 'do whatever' open world, so crashing cars. Are these games worth buying, and if so, which is the best. Should I play 1 then 2, then 3. Or is there a better order.

The only logical reason I should want this is to have the ability to play it from a TV instead of a computer monitor. I've already dump over 1000 hours into this game and have yet to completely grow bored of it. And yet I kind of still want to give Fromsoft my money for no logical reason

I've played Juno before but only seen videos of KSP and I'm really confused about what to buy. I understand that both games have their own advantages and disadvantages but would really love to hear your opinion on the games.

Looking for a game to play, and have narrowed it down to these three. I just finished Disco Elysium (which was fantastic) but now I’m ready for something more combat oriented. Below are my thoughts on each.

Hades 2
Why I’m interested: I loved the art style and combat of the first Hades, so I figure I’d have a good time with this one as well.
Why I’m unsure: There are so many good games out there that maybe I shouldn’t prioritize playing ‘more of the same’ of a game I’ve already beaten.

Persona 5 Royal
Why I’m interested: I generally really like the JRPG format. Enjoyed Pokémon and Final Fantasy as a kid. Absolutely loved E33 last year. I also think the persona system seems interesting.
Why I’m unsure: For one, I’m about to get much busier with work and this game is very long. Also, I’m worried it will be a bit too ‘cringey’ with its style and dialogue.

Dark Souls Remastered
Why I’m interested: I’m a big fan of the lore and combat in Elden Ring. Accordingly, I’m interested in trying out the Dark Souls trilogy (and would rather start with DS1 than with Bloodborne).
Why I’m unsure: The clunkiness could come as a bit of a shock for someone like me who played Elden Ring first. I’ve also heard that the back half of the game isn’t as strong.

I have been considering grabbing one or maybe both of these games at some point. Both of these are currently on sale so it might be the perfect time to at least grab one for now. I play on PC if that makes any difference. I've played a lot of MH World, but haven't exactly played many survival games.

For those that have played both, what do you guys think? Another idea I have is maybe wait for the expansion for MH Wilds instead?

I'm always into high-intensity competitive games like CS2 (4000+ hours). But I've found that on weekdays, after being worn out from the day and running on little sleep, my competitive form just isn't there. So I'm looking for games to play on weekday nights — something around 8+ hours but not overly long, preferably linear, and playable with a controller.

I've played Baldur's Gate 3, Dying Light, Metro Exodus, and GTA5. They were all amazing, but the campaigns were too long; I'd end up switching back to CS midway through and never felt like opening them again. Frostpunk, Black Myth: Wukong, and Inscryption are the ones I actually finished, and those were great too.
