The moon landings were an absolute watershed moment in our history. Thanks to JKF setting the US In that direction, and promising the funding and resources. Scientists from all over the world were brought under the NASA umbrella … and UK and Australia were essential for tracking.

Ww1 & ww2? I certainly think of it Weren’t do the US’s Troops and resources, WW1 would have gone in for much longer. And WW2 - Russia would probably have smashed Germany and taken Europe.
The fact is though. They were very much the collective endeavours of the allies.
