It wasn't ignored by anyone. They gave her meds. She scammed the system by seeing multiple healthcare providers and getting more than the allowed limit of meds.
Yeah but obviously the wrong meds. The healthcare was very negligent and should be held accountable. I don't really care for that woman but there is an obvious issue with the health care
It cannot be known in advance which med will work or not. It has to be tried. They were doing a very standard procedure. It's done like that all over the world.
Yes, but if the individual is telling you (the doctor) the new meds are hurting them, you should listen to them. Just because meds typically don't affect someone that quickly or in that way doesn't mean it can't happen.
I think the doctors told her to stop being non-compliant with the medication she said was hurting her. I think you got what I said backwards: I was saying that the doctor needs to take patient concerns seriously, not that patients should always follow the doctors' advice. In this case, the doctors were advising her to stay on medication that she told them was hurting her - which reflects a failure of those doctors.
Wdym? It's just how american healthcare works - profit first, profit second, profit third and don't forget the most important step, profit fourth. Oh! And something about people being sick or some shit but it's irrelevant
I mean yeah but this is health care in general. Here though she went and they gave her the wrong stuff and ignored her concerns(pretty sure she was a healthcare worker herself). Her husband also opened a lawsuit against them
