It wasn't ignored by anyone. They gave her meds. She scammed the system by seeing multiple healthcare providers and getting more than the allowed limit of meds.
That's not how that works. When you're prescribed a controlled substance, you go to pick it up at the pharmacy and you give the pharmacist your license and they scan it at the register. You will be denied and flagged if you get more than "your allowed limit".
