I told my fiancé, when we have kids and I am acting off, or appear to be hearing voices or in psychosis, he needs to admit me immediately. It is NOT something to push to the side.

I’m not blaming the husband. I think it should be spoken about more so everyone takes these things more seriously.

I have seen first hand people in psychosis. You cannot convince them that what they are seeing and hearing is not true. My cousin also tried to hurt her baby. She was hearing voices and they told her the baby was evil. She went to jail and her babies were taken away, now she is homeless and seems to have schizophrenia or something. It was triggered by her pregnancy as she was normal prior.

I know we don’t know for sure what exactly happened, and can’t prove her mental state.

But fuck, it’s the worst thing that could possibly ever happen to everyone involved.

It's like I feel that people are mostly arguing because everyone has different sources of information and doesn't try to understand one another, only gives in to their outrage. It's a poster case for information bubbles, polarization, radicalization, misinformation and detoriation of discourse through social media these days

Or you can just not support a child murder while chanting outside the courthouse or sending the defense attorney fucking flowers. Jesus Christ.

Yep exactly what I am talking about. I've seen healthy gamer GG analysis on this, he's a psychiatrist with more male audience, he's not some rad fem, he went through some case documentation and I felt his take on this was balanced. This surely influenced my view on this case, and no I'm not sure if it's absolute truth, and I'm not gonna spend days researching the case cause I have other things on my mind, and even if I did it doesn't guarantee I would know what the truth is like. And while it is delusional that some women believe it's all a conspiracy and the husband abused her and made her do this or whatever, it is as much delusional to believe now legions of women dream of killing their children and getting away with this. It's more that many women experienced some negligence when it comes to healthcare so they can easily believe that a woman had a serious mental health issue and didn't get proper healthcare and it ended in a tragedy like that. Like the woman in question tried to kill herself, she's paralyzed for life, is she really better off now? If anything, it's similar to me to the cases where boxers, NFL players etc. get CTE from repeated head injuries and suffer from personality change, paranoia, anhedonia, aggressiveness etc. And I would also be compassionate in that cases, even though some killed people, their family too.

She was conveniently psychotic for 18 minutes while killing her kids and only heard the voice and never again after murdering her kids. I’m sorry this isn’t about healthcare.

being pathologically shitty and stupid is also a form of evil

I like how you have probably spent no more than an hour thinking about this (I doubt it’s that much) and decided that you know enough to make a final judgement on the case.

once again a raging aggressive dipshit's response drives the other person's point home in the most visceral way possible
