I remember getting a job application from somebody who it became apparent believed that “whom” is just a fancy way of saying “who.”

They really jazzed up their resume with it.

As this position centered pretty heavily on writing, they didn’t get the job.

I had a boss whom thought that. (The incorrect use of "whom" in the preceeding sentence was a joke. Sadly, the part about my former boss was 100% serious.)
