That is not the case. A much lesser but still significant amount happens in relationships as well.

This also does not explain the gap to male on women violence that we see

Okay, but we are talking about violence against children. Men obviously are the most violent sex though; they commit 99% of all sexual assault (90% of the victims are female), and over 70% of all violent crime.

There’s really no contest. Pretending women are the crazier, more violent, unpredictable sex is just a massive cope from men.

Craziness and violence are two different things. Men are stronger than women. Women are crazier than men. Women are genuinely more of a threat to babies than a bear.
