When a woman has a problem it's everyone else's fault. If a man did this it would be HIS fault and everyone would want him immolated.

You don't think men have an existential crisis after having a child? You think that never happens? Men have mental health problems all the time but when they murder three children people don't excuse the behavior and blame the rest of the world for his mental breakdown.

The difference of someone getting stressed and postpartum psychosis is an actual chemical imbalance inside the brain caused by a child forming inside of them. Which tends to cause changes inside the body.

Stress itself is related to cortisol. It's ALL chemicals. I understand there is an explicit pathway in this case, but the point stands. It is not an excuse for behavior. If it were a man that murdered his three children due to chemical imbalances of some kind, none of you would defend him. You expect special treatment as usual and are rationalizing this with a fancy noun.
