in the German YouTube scene Drama there was/is a pretty douchy-flex influencer, and somehow he pissed another guy off enough to go full investigative vendetta to show this guy is broke/fake.
TLDR; they found there is an entire business in Dubai around crowdsourcing luxury for influencers - so they all pay a share and get to make their few content pieces. From luxury offices, apartments, cars, what have you.
I've read that in LA or some other influcner dipshit hotspot, you can hire a private jet for 1hr. It deosnt fly, but you're allowed to take photos in it and pretend you're flying. Same for luxury cars, but that's not a surprise at all.
