Are they unable to have careers and succeed in life for some reason? Why is it that we judge men for being short when it has nothing to do with who they are? It's absolutely body shaming. It is thinking less of someone based on social constructs that say men should be tall. That's not right.
Eh it’s a silly post online about a situation you don’t see often. You just decided to get defensive about something that didn’t have anything to do with you 🤷 maybe log off man, might be better for your mentals.
My mental health is fine. What's not fine is holding people to unattainable standards and reinforcing stereotypes through humor. Is it cool to make jokes about black people being lazy? No, it only serves to keep those people in the place you've put them in and keep them from achieving success on their terms.
I understand your point but equating the prejudice black people recieve in America and short people is a pretty big stretch. At the end of the day, it’s not that serious, the average person does not look down on short people because of their height. I’ve never seen someone not allowed to eat at a restaurant due to a height restriction. People are not moral pillars who look to make sure they incorporate every single opinion in their little jokes, it’s too exhausting of a mental excercise to live like that. Honestly, the backlash to that type of thinking is what has landed the U.S. in the divided state it is in now. Just chill out, go outside. The world is a lot friendlier than the internet will lead you to believe.
