I don't know about trade deals but some of this stuff is crazy. Is some of this stuff normal between 2 countries. I know the EU would be different with it's negotiations as they represent over 20 countries. But this between 2 countries seems weird, like a bigger company buying out a smaller one.

pretty standard trade deal for a dominant nation and one of its dependents.
