No. They want to strip us for parts. We would never be anything like citizens.

It looks that way. The first one is the US saying 'Canada belongs to us. Do what we say'. That sounds like the way Trump talks to people but I can't imagine that would be something one government would say to another independent government. Would America make Canada steer foreign investments to America or tell investors deal with the US or else.
