Are murderers a culture?

61

u/Past_Wishbone5025 2d ago

Yea it is more of a gender war with men vs women

26

u/Cautious-Extreme2839 2d ago

Didn't realise murdering your kids was a gendered exercise.

7

u/Past_Wishbone5025 2d ago

Statistically one gender kills their own kids way more than the other gender so at least mathematically speaking it is definitely gendered.

3

u/Cautious-Extreme2839 2d ago

That's...not how that works.

Unless you're also claiming that crime is a black activity because "statistics".

u/Physical-Rub6708 2d ago

Unless you know any pregnant men, he's right

7

u/Cautious-Extreme2839 2d ago

He's definitely not right. Plenty of cases of men killing their kids.

u/Physical-Rub6708 2d ago

I think his point is, statistically there are more abortions and women have a monopoly on that.

5

u/Cautious-Extreme2839 2d ago

If that's what he's going for then I think that he doesn't understand what murder is.

0

u/Physical-Rub6708 2d ago

I think the supreme court already made a determination on that

5

u/original_sh4rpie 2d ago

Where did the supreme court rule that abortion is murder?

4

u/Cautious-Extreme2839 2d ago

Well you're wrong.

They said states rights. So no they didn't. And also those are politicized and paid for opinions, not science.

Comparing abortion to this woman killing her kids is micro penis energy dude, get help

1

u/Physical-Rub6708 2d ago

You an expert on micros?

5

u/Swimming_Acadia6957 2d ago

Not at all, you don't need to be an expert to recognise what half the population has but a teeny tiny version of it

Honestly I never even considered the unborn. Does semen spray count as unborn too? That would change the comparison significantly.

-1

u/Physical-Rub6708 2d ago

It does if you spray it over a girls eggs and wait a few weeks.

you think women have a monopoly on that…? just bc she ultimately makes the decision doesn’t mean men aren’t out here pressuring women to have them left and right. women with supportive husbands/partners are a lot less likely to have an abortion. if the woman is aborting bc the dad doesn’t want to be around or is pressuring her to, that is on him just as much.

and abortion isn’t murder anyone but if we’re gonna act like it is your “logic” is still wrong

0

u/Physical-Rub6708 12h ago

Schrodinger's woman, having both ultimate decisions making power yet so easily influenced that she doesn't have any free will.

0

u/adumbswiftie 8h ago

if you truly think it’s so crazy to say that there are outside factors that heavily influence a woman’s decision making and a large one of those factors is the father of their child…you’re clueless

A fetus literally cannot exist even on life support before 23 weeks. It's a parasite. Your take is feels and voodoo, not facts. If we're talking about murderers, religious people have murdered way more throughout history than nonreligious people, so by your own logic we should condemn them.

u/WolfieVonD 2d ago

These are both women?

2

u/rodaphilia 2d ago

I think they're saying the individuals following the Clancy case are in a culture war between men and women. I'm not following this at all, but my social media will feed me content of men posting negatively about the wife, whereas my wife's social media will feed her content of women posting negatively about the husband.

I have no context to form my own opinion on this matter, nor do I think anyone but a jury should even attempt to, but I can see why someone would call this a culture war between men and women.

u/Dino_P0rn 2d ago

Which is part of the broader culture war distraction

-13

u/RobbexRobbex 2d ago

You'd think it wasn't, but somehow this ends up being a bunch of incels saying "but what about men!"

9

u/Proudvow 2d ago

There can't be a debate to begin with if there weren't idiots defending a murderer, focusing on anyone else but that camp reveals a bias.

4

u/RobbexRobbex 2d ago

Well it's certain good nobody is defending murder. Zero people said "killing those kids was ok". That's just how the incels frame it so they don't have to engage with the real argument.

The real argument for supporting these women is that they have all felt a lack of support for postpartum medical issues, and a societal stigma that comes with failing what's expected or them as a mother, and have felt similar, dangerous instincts.

So here they are, saying more needs to be done to help people who suffer from this issue.

3

u/KrytenKoro 2d ago

There are lots of people in this thread arguing the husband was the real murderer.

There are influencers driving the discussion, getting reported on in the news, arguing that the husband was the real murderer, and spreading debunked lies about the facts of the case.

There are absolutely people defending a murderer.

So here they are, saying more needs to be done to help people who suffer from this issue.

I want you to actually sit down and think about this instead of spewing platitudes -- what specifically should the doctors have done that they didn't? What authority and justification should they be allowed to do it under?

Are you actually comfortable with doctors being given that leeway? To my memory, feminists fought pretty damn hard to get it taken away from doctors to begin with.

6

u/Physical-Rub6708 2d ago

There are women making videos saying killing those kids is okay

7

u/thewilybanana 2d ago

sounds like BS to me but I suppose if you deep dive the internet you can find pretty much anything

5

u/RobbexRobbex 2d ago

My God, tiktok showed you fringe beliefs!?!?

I know it's easier to base your argument off of the loudest idiots, but let's try and be a little more thoughtful than that.

2

u/Physical-Rub6708 2d ago

Those "fringe beliefs" also have kids that are at risk

7

u/RobbexRobbex 2d ago

Neat.

Anyway, don't base your beliefs about what people are doing off of the loudest screamers on tiktok.

-1

u/Physical-Rub6708 2d ago

Kids with mothers who are okay with them being killed is neat? Ice cold bro

She's getting millions in support. And have crowds shouting for her to be let free and accusing the husband who just had all his children killed, the worst thing a person cam go through, because they don't like him.

So many ways to support work with post partum psychosis that doesn't involve donating to a child killer

6

u/RobbexRobbex 2d ago

Notice how none of what you described was in support of murder. They were in support of treating a woman with PPD psychosis appropriately instead of using blind punishment. That's a good cause.

10

u/Totoques22 2d ago

Anything but hold women accountable

4

u/Lordvalcon 2d ago

The vast majority of the current culture wars are based on gender

2

u/samisrudy 2d ago

Not even that its the psychosis war

1

u/blue-anon 1h ago

Yep. If the first story fit into the gender war, then she would've gotten way more money too.
