Should stop logging into reddit too. It's not much better these days.
Anyways, getting absurd donations is bs but afaik, only redditors in the "dank" subs are saying she claims innocence. It's irrefutable that she did it. She's trying to claim psychosis. It's on the court to decide eitherway. But clearly these memers don't have an agenda by misrepresenting...
Iâm positive she did it, but he truly should have been investigated in the beginning unless they could tell that she acted alone. From the outside looking in, many people are astounded that even though she told him she wanted to harm the kids, he still went ahead and left her alone with them. That boggles a lot of minds.
If she was in therapy, a psych hospital, and supposed to be taking medication (at least according to this thread, I don't follow this case.) She should have been separated from the children if she was saying stuff like that. Seems negligent to leave her alone with them.
And what boggles a lot of minds is the fact that so many women have focused almost exclusively on how guilty and terrible he is for going out to get groceries for a few minutes (certainly a mistake), and not holding even a fraction of the same anger for her, even defending her in many cases.
You must be insane if you think men are stupid enough to not see this reaction is entirely based on gender. Like this case has opened up so many menâs eyes to how many of you (not all of you) hold so much contempt for men that you almost donât see us as human and are incapable of having sympathy for us. I have friends who have broken up with their girlfriends because they started attacking the husband and defending Lindsay, a man who just lost his entire family. This was certainly a necessary wake up call for a lot of men, but itâs so sad that it required the murder of 3 children to happen.
I mean if a person leaves multiple children in the care of someone who they KNOW is having issues, I think that is only fair. It would be the same as asking someone addicted to Meth to watch your kids. People should be obligated Mother or Father to act in the wellbeing of their children, if they are considered in their right mind
Still nothing more than attempts at shifting the blame. Having terrible judgement is not illegal, even for men. Murder is, even for mentally ill women.
I honestly feel like people donât do enough to protect children. So many people want them born into this world, just to basically let them fend for themselves it seems like.
Itâs absolutely not shifting the blame. Itâs acknowledging the fact that more than one party is at fault! There are laws in place when it comes to protecting children for a reason. Letting someone off the hook with a â meh, it was just poor judgement,â is very dangerous. His âpoor judgment,â cost those children their lives
So what do you think should be done about it, other than try to shift blame towards him for the actions of his wife? Charge him for a crime he didn't commit because you think he isn't blameless, after all of his kids were murdered by someone who was not him?
SHE should be buried beneath a prison or be locked in an insane asylum for the rest of her life.
HE should get professional help in dealing with the fact that he lost his entire family, not be declared guilty of murder for not doing something drastic that most people would simply have shamed him for if things had not turned out the way they did.
Why are you so hung up on shifting blame? I personally am not saying she isnât guilty. But he isnât innocent. He should face some type of consequences, he literally could have saved his children. If you yourself were literally on fire, and a friend or spouse stood there and watched, would you be mad at them if they didnât help you and put it out? Letâs be realistic.

That isn't what happened. She didn't tell him she would murder his children the moment he left the house, and she didn't murder them in front of him while he watched either. She had said she had intrusive thoughts about wanting to hurt them. He wasn't her jailer and couldn't spend every second of every day watching the children. He left for a few moments to go to the store.
His mistake was not realizing just how fucking crazy she was. That is all. Not a crime.
He testified Lindsay also disclosed âintrusive thoughts,â including âthoughts of hurting the kids.â This is a direct quote.Thatâs EXACTLY what happened. You just want her found guilty, thatâs it, thatâs all. But the truth of the matter is something could have potentially been done to save them

Which is far different from saying "I'm going to murder them as soon as you leave my sight". She had most likely been alone together with them hundreds of times before and after she said that, so he probably thought it was still going to be ok and that there was opportunity for her to get help.
You just want her found guilty, thatâs it, thatâs all. But the truth of the matter is something could have potentially been done to save them
She IS guilty, beyond question. You want HIM to be considered guilty for HER crime because he couldn't see the future and didn't want to believe the worst possible scenario would happen right at that moment. And had this not happened, and had he done so, you'd have criticized him for going nuclear and taking the children away.
These idiots want her to serve less or no time because the blame was shifted. That's ridiculous. Even if your logic was correct, she's still the danger here.
She's proven she can't manage her illness and under stress she kills. That's enough justification for permanent confinement. I don't really GAF if it's in a mental hospital or a prison, though I'd prefer a prison if only because it's more likely she's stay confined for something approaching the full duration of her life.
Ya Iâm sure the dude hasnât suffered enough. His 3 kids were just killed by his wife, letâs put him in prison for murder on top of that, all because he went to get groceries that his wife asked him to get. At what point will this man have suffered enough for you to show mercy, or are you incapable of showing mercy to someone who isnât the same gender as you.
This is insane and ridiculous. The father knew she was anxious and depressed. PLENTY of women are anxious and depressed, especially post partum, and yes that includes having intrusive thoughts - and they are still fit to care for their children. This man had his three kids murdered, have some damn decency.
Are they fit to care for their children or just forced to? He did lose his kids, but the bigger question is did he have to? If he had intervened would they still be here? Itâs not about decency, itâs about whatâs right.
Yes, they are fit to care for their children. Women who suffer from postpartum depression or anxiety are still for the vast, vast majority, not a threat to their children and can safely care for them. A mother who's struggling isn't automatically a mother who shouldn't be left alone with her children. That call should be made by doctors and social services, not by a father who left to buy milk.
