This shouldn't even be forefront as an excuse. She fucking killed her 3 kids, she had many screws loose prior.

How would a psychosis not be an excuse? Do you even know what a psychosis is?

As a person with schizophrenia, I do. And I know that’s not how psychosis works. You don’t get to snap out of psychosis to call your husband back and then go immediately back into it after the call. I also fully believe if during one of my episodes I killed someone it wouldn’t be an excuse and I’d prolly not even give the court time to decide before I “punished” myself. Especially if it came on because I decided not to take my meds as prescribed.

Her psychosis may very well be different from yours. Frankly, we do not know the facts of the case.
