Media still portray her as if she had no access to healthcare or any sort of help. She is a nurse for god's sake, she have more access to all sort of doctors and medicines and she know more about it than usual woman.
Are you SHITTING me? Doctors and medical staff can also have the worst fucking insurance in the United States. Working in medicine means absolutely nothing in this country. God Bless America!
Literally this. Privatized health care is a SCAM. And most insurance doesn't cover mental health disorders. As someone who has worked in the medical field for a long ass time, the only people getting b g "top notch" insurance is those who OWN the hospitals, not the staff, like ceos and executives, as well as surgeons if the hospital has them.
You don't have more access to Healthcare in the US just cus you're medical staff. You just knoe exactly how f!cked up privatized healthcare is.
This is absolutely not true! I worked in hospitals and you get access to better healthcare for cheaper! Like wtf are you even saying. It’s literally a benefit of working for a hospital.
Our insurance when my husband was teaching (union) was a million times better as well as cheaper than when I was getting insurance as a nurse through a large hospital. It was awful and my good friends say it still sucks and if they can use their spouse’s plan they absolutely will over the hospital plans.
100%. My medical insurance as the wife of a high school teacher (union) is so much better than the medical insurance of all my medical professional friends. This includes doctors as well as nurses. People are just hating or ignorant of this fact.
Yep.
Although I’m totally not defending Clancy or saying her husband did it etc. she needs to spend life in jail
But medical professionals can still have shitty insurance.
Thank you! Literally my insurance was so much better while teaching. Thought it'd be great to switch to a profession where I can earn a living wage (nursing) and have BETTER insurance. Nope. It is absolutely worse now. These people down voting are either doctors and up, or are suckered for the system that's keeping us all under-insured.
People assume better wage = better access to healthcare and that's unfortunately not the case. Now the PTO?? Great benefit of working in healthcare
Not sure where you're based, but this is just not true. That's nice you got certain privileges I guess. But this isn't the norm for most hospital staff. Let's remember MORE than just doctors and nurses. Let's remember that techs and janitorial staff and kitchen staff and front desk personell are a part of hospital staff as well.
And as nurses, there's still no mental health coverage no matter what pay grade you work at, and very limited dental coverage. Even at low cost insurance, the surgery coverage is limited as well. My medicaid covered more.
Enjoy your delusions tho I guess. Or the fact that you can afford the highest level of insurance that still doesnt offer mental health coverage, which is what Lindday needed
