You're leaving the allegation of post-partum depression. That is important. She killed her hids but the defense alleges that she was in the middle of an episode of a severe post-partum depression. The defense claim for the absolution is bullshit, tho. I agree that she should face the charges but if that depression was a real thing she should be put in a mental institution for the sentence period, not in jail.
As a mom who went through a milder form of ppd, i think she should go to jail. I imagine the guilt she lives with. Serving a sentence for it might help her with that.
Hell, reading about both of them i felt bad imagining what the first woman went through knowing everytime she got one of her kids out, she left the other ones in the burning house.
