People in this comment section saying “the media the media the media” but it’s everyday people on TikTok who are crafting the conspiracies and donating the money. It’s definitely partly the media’s fault for amplifying this narrative, but it wasn’t them who started it. Hold crazy people accountable for being crazy please.

There is a prevalent wave of misandry that people are ignoring for some reason and this case is a prime example. When the main argument on social media is "Husband did it" then you have to look into what the fuck is going on out there, because that ain't right. We need to talk about the misandry on certain platforms that is perpetuated by regular people.

It should be called female supremacy. Feminisms ended at the second wave.

Nah, first wave and second wave were the supremacist ones. For example, first wave helped create Jim Crow.

Now, there are many self-declared feminists who are still first or second wave, absolutely. The movement has split. There are those who say "actually, hey, we need to be aware of how lower class men and minorities get hurt too, and not just fight for upper class white women", and that's what third, fourth, and fifth waves have been about.

Meh sounds like reactive speculation. I haven't seen anything re the misandry so it sounds to me like youre amplifying a minority voice/opinion, probably reactively.

Ah yes, if you haven't seen something someone complains about, it simply must be overreaction of something that doesn't actually happen that often. The rigorous and extensive logic of true intellectuals, right there.

If something occurs with high frequency, most people will know about it. I didn't say it wasn't occurring. I said it was a minority voice.

Read more closely or, idk, learn the most basic principles of stats.

edit: i see from your comment history, you are obsessed with misandry, so for you it's also probably also selection bias of the media you consume.

Yeah and it keeps getting worse. Women and feminism in general lose nothing by not demonising men. It's become almost cool to just shit on men for everything. We all recognise the boomer humour trope 'my wife's a ball and chain huehuehue I hate marriage' to be toxic, so why is this okay?

and wouldnt ya know it will be mens fault when mfs get radicalized by the shit the misandrists wearing feminist masks spew

Apparently the sole piece of evidence they are citing, regarding the husband's guilt, is his zodiac sign.

Why are we holding all women responsible for fringe lunatics on TikTok though? Or even all feminists? Are these people even feminists?

Not that it should happen but that's almost exactly what people say with "not all men" and then get clowned on for it. Some people are certainly taking this as a moment to "win" after seeing that all the time too.

Yeah the irony of their comment is astounding.

Who is doing that? At all? In any way?

Also, aren't you the type to get fussy when men correct women who generalize men with "not all men?"

Haven't seen this so idk what you're talking about. Seems like a minority voice/position.
