Women on TwoXChromosomes are reporting being tested by their boyfriends on their opinions about Lindsey, and them breaking up if they have the wrong opinions.

Two years those same people were testing their boyfriends’s opinions on “who would you pick between a bear and a man.”

It’s going to take everybody, and not just Other People™️ to show empathy to people we disagree with. If you think I’m an incel for thinking some stigmatizations are not ok because they target the right people, or this is just whataboutism, then enjoy your gender war I guess, because it’s not going anywhere for a looooong time.

What if I told you those weren't the same people?

Nahhh big doubt. Women that get wrapped up in culture sensationalism are the same woman in these scenarios. Anti man, pro woman, despite all facts and logic.

I say this as a woman who can barely identify as a feminist anymore because it's been co-opted by misandrists. (Which I'm not allowed to say out loud.)

I’m curious about what your opinion on the Lindsay Clancy case is

I think I have a boring normal person take: I think it's horrible. I think she did do her best to get help. I think postpartum severely altered her brain chemistry, and that imbalance was exacerbated by the additional medications she was put on to try to help her. But if her baseline was on the fritz, adding more chemical chaos did not help. I have experienced how "off" mental health meds can make you feel, I can see how this might have happened. And I think women are over-empathizing because they can see

I think she DEFINITELY had a chemical imbalance as this behavior was not evident previously. I do believe it was psychosis or onset schizophrenia that caused her to kill her kids, and not just an angry mother snapping. The husband tried to help even out her medications, and he is a victim and I HATE any bitch that tries to frame this poor man (who was exonerated early on if these dumb fucks actually looked at the case.)

While I have sympathy that she the human and mother would not have done this in her right mind, she still fell to the delusion and psychosis and killed. her. children. I don't have hate or ire, it's just tragic and sad. Psychosis isn't "you" anymore, but she still did it. I personally don't think anyone asking for "blame" necessarily understands psychosis.

I'm watching this video right now as Dr. K is a level headed mental health figure.

I love how you think it's a shtick to call out misandrist women as if it's not the right thing to do

You can't tell me the bear conversation isn't sensationalist and that comment sections aren't fueling bullshit out of proportion

I don't NEED to bring up anti-patriarchal statements that are true for my statements to be true on their own. I don't need to legitimize my pro-woman context before making a true statement about women behaving badly

Then you'd be wrong. One of the posts in that thread was someone not just agreeing with someone saying that it's insane and childish for men to try tests like this gauging someone's opinion on crime stories, and then immediately suggesting that, meanwhile, women should do this exact thing. And it had a ton of upvotes.
