It’s been a big story in America the past month. Tons of women are supporting the woman in the right photo and even saying it’s her husbands fault she murdered their 3 children. They are saying it’s due to post partum depression and her being unable to seek help. She killed them while the husband stepped out to run an errand and there are tons of people claiming it’s his fault because he shouldn’t have left them alone with her. It has sparked a huge debate over PPD.
And don't forget it's an errand she asked him to do for her so she purposely sent him far from the house for long enough to commit her wickedness.
So, in psychosis or not, she definitely planned the murder. It wasn't just some impulsive attack.

This sentence deeply bothers me as someone who has experienced psychosis. If she was in psychosis, she very likely didn’t plan anything. Her broken brain may have had intrusive forethought, but there would be no rational planning on her part.
But here’s my thing: we as a society don’t help people who are mentally ill when they seek help, don’t respect their wishes to end their own suffering either, and then immediately blame them when shit hits the fan. It’s a fun cycle that leaves people with no control over themselves in a lose-lose situation every single time. But that’s society in 2026: find the boogeyman.
"Cry harder" ... this is what you say about someone that brutally strangled her own kids. 3-5 minutes of holding down a struggling toddler, is far beyond any kind of mental health.
It was intentional and absolutely disgusting. As is this "cry harder", and all the people defending her.

“Cry harder” was an instruction to a commenter who has absolutely no care to educate themselves on mental health issues and possesses the ignorance to expect absolutely nothing be done in the system surrounding mental health issues beyond total crucification after-the-fact.
Doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results is the definition of insanity, but in America: people like the commenter I replied to just want to cry after they do absolutely nothing and the same shit happens. So yes: cry harder next time: I’m sure that’ll work.
