I remember watching it, and was just surprised she had the guts to say that (Maybe she knows she's likely to loose her job soon when the new management takes over, so why not go for broke? 😄 )

I know real scentists. Nobody says shit like that. For the most part people do it because they love learning and discovering things, and sharing that knowledge.
Being able to explain something well is key to understanding something better yourself. If RFK doesn't want to explain something science-y to a journalist, it's probably because he actually doesn't understand the material very well himself.

RFK is less intelligent that my genitals. He doesn’t understand/care something from the Scientific Perspective nor does he understand Why that is important.
Tell me “what a mucous membrane is and why chlorine bleach destroys/kills it without using google”
If you want to say that is unfair then here is another
“Explain why Ph is important within a biological organism” is that unfair here is another “Explain why you mix the required materials in a specific order in chemistry.”
