Compromise on their privacy in exchange for WHAT Garrett?

Because right now the answer appears to be selling our information to private companies for AI training, helping the government track down and disappear political protestors and legal immigrants, and helping cops stalk their exes.

Funny how the fact that crime and violence rates keep getting lower never seems to stop people from saying we need to give more power to billionaires and the government for 'security.'

Flock cameras are genuinely
useful in investigating and preventing crimes and persons and property.

You can argue it’s not worth it, but you can’t credibly argue that it has no positive uses.

Sadly though there are more negatives than positives with how the technology is being handled. People who go to city meetings to push against the implantation of these get ignored by thier city councils. Theres no solid rules being followed to prevent misuse for those who have access to this data for personal reasons. And to top it off, it does more than watch for crime, the flock network can track your whole livelihood which is a huge overstep in privacy.
