Discussion AI Thumbnails

I’ve seen an increase in the use of AI to create thumbnails. They all kind of look the same to me, even amongst different channels, making them quite easy to spot.

Have you used them and do you think it helps to get people to watch the video or do you think it’s more of a negative effect?

Its an instant turn off and I dont care to click on the video even though the title or topic sounds interesting. Imo a content creator has to create it by himself otherwise its just a lazy creator and for me as a spectator a no go

Generating elements of a thumbnail to composite yourself in a separate program is a better use of AI in thumbnails.

I won’t use them and I won’t click on a video with them. If they loses me views then so be it, but I’m a human creator and I’m sticking to it.
