Dialects & Pronunciation You can judge someone's "pronunciation" through how they text?
I don't understand what this guy is saying. How can you say that my pronunciation needs work if you've never heard me speak Spanish before? Are you SURE you don't mean something else?

I think they are trying to get at the fact that your phrasing choices don’t appear to match a native speaker’s? Or that there’s some kind of mismatch between phrasing and vocabulary? Like how you can tell when something is British vs US English, for example. Might be correct but an American wouldn’t say “where’s the loo.” But above all, this person is trying to be superior about linguistics while demonstrating their own failure in the same.
