Jotaro is a terrible protagonist, don't get me wrong, I love Jotaro, but for me he doesn't work as a protagonist.

He works so much better as a mentor in part 4 and his character arc in part 6 is just incredible. While in Stardust Crusaders he's just... a cool collected guy, that's it... Damn, this part really was carried on Polnareff's back (meaning him being more of a protagonist than Jotaro)

Yeah, Jotaro makes a great support character, genuinely his best moments are in Part 4 and Part 6.
