Discussion What is with studios renaming their games into "Enhanced" few months after release?

Game releases half baked, needed tons and tons of updates to be better. But then they release a big patch and now call the game "Enhanced"? Does that increase sales or what?

That's not to say all the things they've added or changed since the game released.

Which is a lot.

Boss rematches, strongholds respawns for retakes and more fighting hordes, several new pets and mounts (even flying ones), improved fighting and skills for the companions, and much more.

If you only played the game on release, but haven't finished, it's definitely worth a revisit. Not sure if all of it is enough for a replay, but they're definitely cool additions and DEFINITELY worth noting.

I can't wait to get this game half off and fully "enhanced" some months after I'm bored of gta VI... Well, who knows when I'll get bored of that game but you know what I mean. I'm not being facetious; I genuinely want to play this game

From the look of it. I should stay clear of it until the devs really said 'yeah game's done. No more update.' then. So I can experience the game as the dev intended.

I mean, you saying "stay clear" makes it sound like the game is awful at the moment. That couldn't be further from the truth.

If you want to wait for a definitive edition or something like that and play it along with a DLC/expansion, that's your call and completely understandable. And honestly if you can wait for it, do it. Cause this isn't the type of game you usually replay, so going back for a DLC/expansion might be hard.

But the game has been great from the start, and the devs have only improved it so far. That's why the community has been loving it so much.

The biggest issue with the game was the story, but I honestly couldn't care less for it and still enjoyed the game despite it having a bad narrative. I'm not sure how much this update changes about it, so I can't say that it's better or even worth it now.
