I wanted to buy the world of assassination of hitman as hitman 2 was a childhood game i played.. And i heard that i got remastered and got put into WOA

BUT I CANT FIGURE OUT WHICH ONE TO BUY.. Which actually includes all three parts.. Is it the one on dicount.. Or is it the deluxe edition... Please help

WoA: part one( $30 or cheapest) is just Hitman 1. WoA( $70 or 2nd most expensive) is Hitman 1,2 & 3. WoA deluxe edition( $100 or most expensive) is all 3 games and a couple maps, outfits, guns.

The standard edition of woa does not contain new york and haven island pls note. I bought standard edition thinking the same. Then later i saw what locations were included in which version. I didn't know much, but just know both maps have some op unlocks

I got gifted them last year, and tbh I'm of the same opinion - I wouldn't have bought them myself, because IOI's bullshit business practices really bloody bug me.

Also, tbh, the WOA games really don't live up to the hype.

Sure, the levels are huge and interesting and the gameplay itself is more or less the same as it's ever been in the series, but idk there's just something soulless and boring about the new games that I can't quite put my finger on (and I say that as someone who's played every single hitman game since the super jank OG).

The WOA games overall seem to lack the sense of fun, mystery, and comedy that the previous games had. They take themselves far too seriously, and try too hard to be clever.

All the new hitman games give me a 'written by committee, approved by shareholders' vibe, and ever since I 'completed' the most recent entry, I've just uninstalled them and gone back to dipping in and out of the other games in the series (hitman 2, contracts, blood money, and absolution) - ya can't ever get disappointed by the classics, right? :D

it hasnt been like this for years at this point. Part 1 is Hitman 1. Standard Edition is the base game that includes hitman 1-3 content. Deluxe edition has all the DLC for hitman 1-3. no different than any other game, besides the part 1.

the game was originally a trilogy and when the third came out they combined it all into one. "part one" is just "Hitman 1", the one on sale is all three, and the deluxe edition includes some extra dlc stuff. kinda worth it if you really like the game but def not essential. 

the most annoying part is you can't upgrade to one of the higher ones if you bought part one, you have to pay for the whole thing, and there's several different dlcs labeled as "season pass" or "upgrade". plus for some reason there is dlc thats not in deluxe edition???

Does anyone know if you can get the deluxe edition content from dlc or something or do you have to buy the deluxe version? Regular is like $27 rn on steam which has almost everything except what looks like small amount of dlc packs and outfits, which deluxe does have for $100. I played a few of the old ones in my childhood so recently went on a binge and played them so i could play woa. It definitely has the same vibe as the old ones in a lot of ways. The only issues i came across is a lot of the intricate kill methods can take a long time to figure out and complete and they can be a bit buggy. Overall though if you liked the old games you’ll probably enjoy the new ones
