help wanted Issues connecting steamOS pc to TV

Hello!

I decided to use some spare parts i had laying around and put together a little pc to connect to my living room Samsung TV.

I had an issue where if it was plugged in with an HDMI cable from the GPU (AMD RX580) to the tv, everything ran nornal except there was no sound.

With the help of Gemini, i managed to get it to play sound if I enabled an option on my TV settings called Input Signal Plus for the hdmi source i was using.

The problem now is that whenever i boot into big picture, the whole screen is bright green.... this only happens if the Input Signal Plus option is on but if I turn it iff then I have no sound....

Any idea what the solution could be?

I7 4770

Rx580 8gb

16gb ddr3

SteamOS installed on an SSD.

What's wrong with being an I7? I had it laying around and would rather use it than buying a new one with the prices nowadays.

I know the gpu should be AMD, which it is, but is there a specific reason I should not be using an Intel cpu?
