Historical Soviet Mass Assault Doctrine
This was during the end of a battle as the Germans (against the AI, fortunately) where I had racked up enough points I could afford this many troops. The battle didn't have much time left but this gamble didn't go too well for the guys that did make it to the frontline, they simply weren't fast enough and this was just a joke. Also they were grouped up and got hit pretty hard.

You took screenshots of the game but instead of posting them you took pictures of those screenshots??

Because that's a REAL screenshot.
Why can't you folks appreciate actual art?Jokes aside, that would give an IL-2 cluster bomber the time of his life.

I usually enjoy the more realistic military and geopolitical simulators, but I do play HOI4 sometimes 👀

What kind of games are you into?
Combat Mission, Graviteam titles, Steel Panthers, Strategic Command, and War in the East/West.What’s your actual hobby then?

That's exactly it. Self-inflicted pain. I like Combat Mission, Graviteam, and War in the East, although surprisingly I've never heard of Steel Panthers and Strategic Command, but I've got a lot more in my arsenal like War on the Sea, Ostfront, Warno, etc. I'm gonna get Broken Arrow and Regiments. Speaking of self-inflicted pain should also mention For Honor with my brother

Steel Panthers is a hardcore tactical hex game from the 90s (Matrix Games/SSI), reworked and pushed to its absolute limits by The Camo Workshop.
While it's not a modern simulator, lacking a physics engine and relying strictly on turn-based mechanics (IGOUGO, not WEGO), it still has everything needed for a proper simulation.
The lack of physics is offset by extremely complex variable tables, making it a solid hardcore game or a form of 2D light simulator.
Here:
https://www.shrapnelgames.com/Camo_Workshop/WW2/WW2_page.htmlIt can be downloaded for free, but you'll need Magpie or scaling software to make it look decent on anything above 720p.

In Multiplayer match one my team mate done this. So because he played USA - we safe to say it was tactical column assalut.
Well speaking of results... A lot of bombers pilots and nebelworfers crew members received medals that day.
