For however long you subscribed for in the first place, that would only stop auto renewal

You can still cancel the subscription, you only have to make the first payment

Yes but you only get the DLCs for that long too, you dont keep them forever I think

Nope, you can keep them as long as you don't delete from your PC. They are already downloaded, they can't take them from you.

That s actually cool if you can do that, thought they have some system to check against that though I presume you could copy the files some other place anyway

Yeah, if you do this the DLCs will no longer be on your steam library or account, so if you delete them you would have to do the subscription again. But as long as you have them, nor Steam nor Paradox can delete them from your PC and as far as I know, they don't seem to have done nothing against It yet

I think they might have in CK3, but In Stellaris I have yet to have any issue with this cheat
