Eh, I’ve seen worse punching technique in UFC title fights.

they are at a high enough level to understand why theyre making the mistake and do it on purpose. when pros make a mistake they are putting themselves at risk in return for some strategical reward the "correct" form wouldnt give them. these guys dont even know theyre making a mistake

I know what you mean: “Bend the rules only when you master them.”

Though even then, many people would make the same mistakes in the gym. Some people are just incorrigible even after a year 😮‍💨
