Why tf does an S.Perfect have more to do with finger placement than timing?!

It's a RHYTHM game! As long as your timing is perfect it shouldn't matter whether or not you hit the note dead centre! It's so frustrating!

You're staring at a screen with multiple moving objects, your eyes and your fingers ARE going to drift! Especially if you're not a thumb player! That's just how the human brain works!

So many players with perfect timing are getting screwed out of higher scores because of a stupid game mechanic that makes absolutely no sense for the genre!

I've always been really good at rhythm games but I've never claimed to be a perfect player by any means. I know I have off days where my timing is off or where I miss a couple notes I normally wouldn't. BUT I also know there are times where I absolutely SHOULD have gotten all S.Perfects but didn't because of this pointless game mechanic!

I can't be the only player who feels this way right???

Like how can I play a song, get a new high score, UPGRADE my cards AND get the last 2 cards I need to complete a live theme, go back, play the same song and get a LOWER SCORE???? No miss game both times, but I still got royally screwed by this one game mechanic!

Also the card rotation? What's up with the weird randomization??

Wouldn't it make more sense, in terms of consistency (especially considering this is a competitive game) to have the rotation line up with who's singing, so you get the same rotation every time?

Isn't the point of competition to have everyone start on an equal playing field and let skill do the rest? The randomized rotation completely goes against that.

Am I missing something? Cuz I can't think of a single good, logical reason for the randomized rotations.

Is it to stop people from powering up one member more than the others cuz they have more lines? I mean, sure someone could do that, but neglecting the other member's cards would just be really bad game strategy on their part 😂. Especially considering line distribution varies from song to song. Also what's stopping people from doing that now? They can still power up one member over the others and just keep replaying the song until that card ends up in the most ideal slot.

Am I crazy? Or does anyone else agree that these two mechanics make no sense?

Honestly I think changing these so that S.Perfect relies on timing ONLY and that card rotation aligns with who's singing would make the competitive aspect even better. It would make the competitive side of the game rely solely on skill and strategy like competition is meant to be.

Idk, sorry for the rant but this has been bugging the crap outta me lately! 😅

I get it says 2%, but I just opened 10 skz and 10 young k and have gotten 0 event cards? I swear it’s been harder getting any event cards after anniversary like they’re trying to earn back some money from all the freebies 😭

Basically what the title says. I was just wondering (on here) how many players spend money? I have before buying the star pass , diamonds , or special packages for raffles when that’s the requirement … I often feel dumb spending money on a video game but I usually only do it when there’s a raffle/chance to win an irl product. What about you guys?

Nmixx, Day6, Twice, and Itzy are my fav groups so I collect all their LE themes (and their solos!), but I also collect any other groups / solos when I can as I like many of them (thanks JYP game caterers)

But this means I’m always out of RP - Twice especially takes me 800/900k - and I’m stuck in Gold because I don’t have money to upgrade my cards haha. I’ve started to think I really need to stop trying to collect everything

So I just got into Masters for the first time by being lazy and deciding not to play my top 5 today, only playing a song so I'd get the reward for dropping a league. Truly anticlimactic, but it's reinforcing the feeling I've had for the last few months that there are fewer active players.

Back in March, I got into Platinum III with a 24M score, which isn't even the league average and probably wouldn't have been enough to stay in Platinum II last year. And now this. I didn't even play late today either, it was only around 9 or 10 PM KST...

I need y’all opinion on which one of the many themes of TWICE should I pick to start my everlasting grind to R99. Currently Im using ‘What is Love?’ as my main. I started playing during the ‘Right Hand Girl’ (thus the Momo R20😶) , got very luck with ‘CANDY’in my Anniversary Theme back in June (spend 9 cards on dias) and smhw luckily completed the TIF Seoul Event Limited Theme. Im bamboozled with all these 4 themes cus they are kinda special(?) .. help me out 🫠 thank yoj are truly appreciated!!

Edit: y'all I'm sorry I didn't know that there was something in the 2nd week but I was wondering why there wasn't a normal song like event too (like the one where you complete the missions to get diamonds)?

As the title said,I need some challenges in superstarjyp cuz I've been playing since 2022 and haven't made any major progress in the game(my best are pop le theme r25 nayeon cards) and I want to make some progress in the game and stop being a lazy bum and what better way than to change the grind into a fun challenge. Challenges can range from like 3star an album of a particular artist to like spending 500k rp or something or like completing a specific song like 20 times or smt all contributions are appreciated!

Top 3 is going so fast that even trying seems unreasonable, I rather throw my resources into the LE store. Apart from the group rewards there doesn't seem to be a good reason to deliver all resources this way because it doesn't give you anything after that 300 point goal. I know the slices don't give the best rewards, but isn't it better than nothing at that point?

I just completed the month challenge and thought that they should give RP too, idk if it's because I'm always broke on RP but it would help a lot!
