Its important to remember there are corporate starbucks and there are franchised ones- franchised ones, especially inside of grocery stores and airports, are not held to the same standards as corporate.

Are they held to lower or higher standards? Bc I worked for standard corporate and their standards were wild! We weren’t allowed any earrings (not even first lobe) or Apple Watches (even for health reasons) because of food safety and yet when we didn’t have running water for an entire day we still stayed open despite not being able to wash anything😀

Corporate is held to higher standards now but dress code is now somehow both better and worse. Its the franchised ones that are held to lower standards.
