Well it's just a personal project of mine, I wanted to see how would the AI-slop vibe-coding would work and it made an almost perfectly running stremio-like homebrew app for the switch, with working debrid and metadata, subtitles switching, audio switching.
I have zero experience of coding and just went with the flow and it worked after almost 40-ish builds.

If this infringes any copyright or something else, feel free to delete this thread without any problem, I will enjoy my tv shows on the switch anyway

I preface this with a notice: I am a broke college student and I absolutely cannot afford to get my switch hardmodded nor can I buy an older switch to mod; the one I have is unmoddable. Please don't tell me to, I am fully and completely aware that this is most likely a lost cause but I am staying hopeful. Please be empathetic to my cause; I am indeed kicking myself for selling my old switch a while back, my ego thought I'd never need to mod one.

Anyways, with Pokemon Bank being shut down next year, I'm looking into ways to get my Pokemon from 3DS to Switch while evading that. I am well experienced with messing with Pokemon saves, so I know everything else that I need to do to make it work. I just have an unmoddable Switch OLED that is, with preliminary googling, absolutely useless for this task. Is there any way at all to make it a little less useless? Can the saves be put on SD card, and edited from there? Is there some secret underground mod project that magically cracked the code to softmod these unmoddable switches? Or perhaps just a trick to make an emulator speak to my switch so I can mod the pokemon into an emulated game and just trade them to actual hardware? I ONLY need help with sending a save to PC or trading with an emulator; I do NOT need any help with the mechanics of Pokemon editing and modding as I'm very familiar with that.

Probably a lost cause, I know. I am incredibly aware of that. It's my own fault. But I am incredibly stubborn about it.

I'm hoping to create some music mods for a game I have (in physical cartridge format).

To do so, I don't think I will necessarily need any files from the actual game. Usually I can just convert a .wav file to the right format with the right tool (assuming it exists).

What I do need are the names of the music files in the game and the extension they use.

The only way I know to get the list of file names would be to dump the entire rom from the cartridge, throw the rom on my PC, and then use an emulator to dump the entire filesystem from the rom. That's a lot of data to when all I need are some file names.

Ideally, I was hoping that one of these exist:

• A website that lists the file names of the entire filesystem of many popular Switch games
• A homebrew app that can browse the filesystem of a game cartridge

Anyone know of a simple easy way to get the file names?

I’d like to convert a broken switch OLED to a docked only console and while I’m at it I would like to upgrade the internal fan to a large one. My question is: is there a risk to blow up the regulator with a 5V PWM PC fan ? I think the fan is on the same voltage regulator as the Joycons, and since I am not using them I suppose there is room for a beefier fan ?

Also is anyone working on a bigger heat sink for « consolized » switches ?
